Virtual Acoustic Intensity Measurement Procedure
This is a virtual measurement procedure using augmented reality glasses for measuring acoustic power in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9614.
Acoustic intensity measurement allows for the identification of acoustic power emitted from the test object in accordance with ISO 9614. A 3D model acoustic intensity map is generated using discrete points/scanning. Instead of constructing a physical grid for discrete point and scan measurements in accordance with ISO 9614, acoustic intensity measurement utilizes Microsoft’s HoloLens 2 augmented reality glasses. The AR glasses can be seamlessly integrated into the procedure, making it easy and quick to perform ISO-compliant measurements. This efficient virtual solution facilitates the necessary acoustic intensity measurements, enabling even inexperienced users to conduct ISO-compliant measurements.
